Help us fund our cooking and gardening program at Washington Elementary in Berkeley. We have at least two years to pay for while the district finds a way to fund programs in all Berkeley schools.

We are having a Cinco de Mayo blowout that will include a festive menu made from food grown in Washington's garden and in a beautiful local backyard as well as lessons in make tortillas using masa and tortilla presses, shaking mason jars with red onion pickles, prepare guacamole in a mortar and pestle, salsa, black beans, and beer! There will be cooking demonstrations going on throughout the night, available for extra donations.
